This thread is dedicated to finding out as many details as possible to try to find the family of Ron and Nellie Grogan.

(From memory) Nellie married Ron and had five daughters and a son. The son died but the remaining daughters (Anne's sisters) were still alive when I spoke to Nellie about 10 years ago.

Nellie hadnt told her daughters about Anne and I promised her I would not seek them out and leave her in the position of having to face them.

She was a lovely lady and took the trouble to send me a pic of the family including Ron, which I gave to Anne, but we do not know to this day which of the men is Ron.

She also invited me to go visit her if ever I was in England.

It's probable that Nellie has died and if that is the case then I will continue the search for Anne's sisters....I kept my promise.

I spoke to a helpful girl at the local paper and she checked the obits for me but until I get more details she could not find anything.

I have entered my name into Friends Reunited at the address they lived so if any of them or their children go to that old address they may contact me.

Ron died in the 70's
