Hey folks thanks for all the pictures and time you have spent putting this article together. Joan has been looking also, and was in stiches at some of the old photo's, Where did you get all these Liz? They were great to look at and remanise about the good old day's, that is all history now. How long did it take you Liz, I am refering to all the stuff you have added over recent day's, Suppose i have got to say that you are very talanted in this area. we will give you 9/10. Also, i see that Barb is getting very competant at adding pictures. Well done. (nice to see everyone, little notes at the bottome are alway's good) What else have you got stashed away Liz, alway's full of surprises.

With the ability I have to be able to go back and edit the posts and add comments I tend to put off adding titles to each pic.

With photobucket Ijust collect the HTML and post it and it automatically shows all the pictures at once without havng to do them one by one.

The first box off the truck when I got my storage out was mums photo albums..so there are hundreds still to add.

With about 6 albums...each containing about 200 pics...who knows how long it will take to scan...but how great to be able to do that!  I have a suitcase full too!

No more losing pictures and we can all share the ones we have!

Were there many there that you havent seen?  I'm sure a lot of the ones you gave to mum were duplicate ones.

I have to say that it does take a long time to 'do' all this stuff and though its worthwhile in the long run, its always a motivating factor to know someone is looking at them...I know thats what you do Alex (and barb) so thats what keeps me going.

Others pop in without posting so thats OK too.

In the long run we will have a lot of stuff to pass to the kids when they realise how important it is.

I sent emails to everyone, though I know a lot dont spend much time on computers.

As you can see, I have extended the site to welcome close friends and neighbours.

Do you remember Jakki Alex?

Nice to see she visited....Maybe one day we will have more traffic.

I have Anne's computer right now so I am missing her posting...so if you were wondering why she didnt wish you a Happy Birthday , that is the reason..

Ohhh I tried to watch the cards Barb but the sound on my PC has been up the creek....

I spent hours on it today...'restore' and all the checks etc...

Then I realised....It has a 'mute' button on the keyboard and Elmo had obviously turned it off a few days ago...so I will go back and watch the christmas and Birthday one!

Thanks again all for the happy birthday, Interesting to look at some of these pictures that i had forgotten about, but every picture brings back a memory. Thanks for the great job of putting it all together Liz. You have great talent, patience and Time, it is appreciated, even if we dont talk often.

Hope everyone had a great christmas, and will have an even better year for 2011. 

Hope you had a great time also Barb on the West coast. I remember you said last year that you like to visit at christmas?
