2011 would have been mum's 97th birthday.

She has been gone for 15 years but never, never forgotten.

One of the loveliest people in this world.  Would do anything for anyone and would never dream of complaining.

She adored her family and never overcame the loss of her sister, Harriet, who died in India at 18 months old.  Mum was 14 at the time.

Remembering you mum....

Also remembering Tam and Jess' friend Kathy and her fiance who died tragically one evening on a country road. So sad.

Sadly missed but not forgotten, if only the hands of time could be turned back and we done things we never got around to doing.

Happy Birthday Nana. I always have the memories of our visits to Canada and remember the taste of those wonderful dumplings! Still never managed to have any that tasted so good!

How lovely to see everyone pop on and make a comment.

I love making the headers.  

It's my little tribute to whoever is featured, in this case, mum, Sue, Harvey and Kathy and John, friends of Tam and Jess.

Even though some may visit and don't comment, its gratifying to know that they can see the pictures and maybe listen to the videos that nearly always have me in tears as I am doing them.

Family is important and to have the opportunity of distant cousins etc all coming together to keep in touch is special.

One thing mum said to me was that she hoped the family wouldn't drift apart once she had gone.

I am doing my best to ensure that doesn't happen.

We are all still here for you mum! (and for each other!)

Kathy's death impacted me more than even I can understand.

Maybe it's because it could so easily have been you in that car.

Maybe it's because she meant so much to you...

The video, I felt, was perfect and, of course, had me in tears!

Hi all and Happy Birthday to Mum whom I've never met but must have been a very special person. Your dad of course looked just like "Gran" Rose.  Very sad about your friends they were so young.  I would insert a pic but don't know how on this?  Hope all are well up there in Oh Canada, I have two extra bedrooms if u ever want to visit Orlando FL. (o:   Love Carolyn Kilcoyne
