Anne, Thanks for the recognition of our 46 years.  I am taking Joan to Mc Donalds, I will take her inside to sit down in the dining area, as a special treat, because normally she gets a ride through the drive through. But I thought a nice change would be good, I will score a few brownee points. especially, if i line up and pay for the meal, and serve it on a tray for her. ( she will like all the fuss and attention) I will even volunteer to pay.
 After that i will invite her to the hardware store, and give her a list of what i would like in the way of wants instead of needs, she always say's, giving is more rewarding than receiving.
I did not get time to get an anniversary card for Joan, so, I had a christmas card that i crossed off the festive words, and wrote my own, it brought a smile to her face, and she did like the words i chose.
Yes Liz has done a fantastic job with this site, she certainly has some talent.

Awww Uncle A! You could have at least gone to Burger King for a change from McDonalds. Could have worn his and hers crowns to celebrate! (Assuming your BKs are as upmarket as ours!)

Wendy, Thanks for the congratulatory message, actually i did think of Burger King to celebrate, then i thought as it is a little bit more upscale than Mc Donalds, it would be more fitting to select Burger King on eithey a 5 or 0. So the next time that Joan would qualify, would be our 50th. So she will have to wait another 4 years But i will mention it, and hopefully she will put it on her calander. So, she is going to have to be good, and take care of all my wishes, if she wants that treat.
Hopefully you have got Mark motivated to get on with his jobs around the house, and get your Kitchen finished.
We appreciated the invite we had to your house, you both are doing a great job on it. It was great seeing you all, i have difficulty comprehending how you have all grown up? Makes me feel a bit old.
