Thanks Alex...Mum is worth the effort!

We always used to take her to her favourite restaurant on her birthday..Swiss Chalet! lol

She's been gone 14 years now...I don't think any of us will ever get over it.

I'll bet she's up 'there' making lots of mince pies and butterfly cakes for her party and making dad put on his posh velvet jacket and put in his teeth!!

Definitely reminds me of 'Hyacinth' (Keeping Up Appearances) not only in how she looked but how Hyacinth makes Richard dress up to go on a picnic, in case the neighbours see...lol!

 Aww good job mum, this is very cute!

wow 96 eh?.. I miss her like crazy still.
Today is such a sad day for me. Makes me remember Nana and its been 2 years since Kathy died. Lots of emotions today.

But Im sure Nana is up there making butterfly cupcakes and Kathy is asking for some hahaha

Awww Tam, you know I still keep their pic on my noticeboard.

That was sooo sad...Kathy  and John driving home, 7pm, hit  pickup truck and their car burst into flames. 

 Someone tried to help but he was unable to.

It affected me so greatly and still makes me cry...she was your best friend and  when we lived up in the farmhouse  you were always going to stay with her.

She looked after her father and brother...a lovely girl....

Weren't they (John and Kathy) going to get engaged or they already were?

I'll leave this here but I will make another thread for her Tam, because I remember her every year also and know that it was so tough for her brother.

I dont like facebook but registered just to be able to visit their site.

You wrote such a lovely poem...I'll add that to their special thread.

Don't worry Tam....Nana has been looking after her.

she is always in our hearts , and as i am sitting here with amanda and talking to liz on the phone we are always thinking of her . she is in our thoughts all of the time ,and in our dreams
